Links and resources for the travel videos I showed as “sweeteners” for Great Courses course I’m giving at DEAR on Tuesdays at 10:00, starting on Jul 7, 2026, and then continuing on most Tuesdays through November 24.
- Zac and Ine – Officially World Wild Hearts, this YouTube channel is my first choice, when I’m looking for travel “sweeteners” following the lectures. Great content, professional production values, clear narration, no attempts to be “cute,” and music that isn’t annoying! Superb!
- Joel and Emilia – Adventurous & cost-conscious young couple from England who have been full-time “digital nomads” together since 2022 (Joel’s been traveling professionally since 2017). They maintain solid production values while being spontaneous, personal, and truly engaging,
- Frankly Abroad – Relatively new YouTube channel (March, 2026) from a guy named Frank, who provides “honest, no-nonsense travel advice for the 50-plus crowd – from a fellow traveler who’s made all the mistakes so you don’t have to.”
- Kristina Houwer – Multi-lingual presenter & content creator whose YouTube channel includes nicely done travel videos. The link is to her website, which provides insight into how an individual can establish themselves as a successful digital brand.
